A simple quick pasta recipe
One of my son's favorite dishes is a simple cheese ravioli in a tomato sauce. When I'm feeling fancy I make the sauce from scratch, but on days like this I grab some fresh pasta from the market and a jar a spaghetti sauce and make some quick magic. Adding fresh parsley and parm cheese helps to brighten the dish. Feel free to fry up some chicken cutlets along with it, if you'd like a heartier meal.

Cheese Ravioli in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
Just a few fresh ingredients and you're ready to go
1 pack of fresh cheese ravioli (I pick mine up from Whole Foods)
1 jar of traditional spaghetti sauce
fresh parsley
Italian seasoning
black pepper
garlic powder
fresh parmesan cheese
salt
olive oil
Directions
Boil your water for your pasta (add salt and a little olive oil to the water)
In a separate saucepan heat up your spaghetti sauce on a low flame. Add your pepper, Italian seasoning, chopped parsley, garlic powder and bring to a simmer.
Add fresh ravioli to boiling water and let cook for 2-3 minutes (fresh pasta does not take long at all)
Drain pasta and plate topped with tomato sauce, freshly grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish
